SERVICE GROUP FOR SECULAR MEETINGS OF NARCOTICS ANONYMOUS

There is a voluntary group of NA members who provide service in various ways to Secular Meetings of Narcotics Anonymous. The group is called, SERVICE GROUP FOR SECULAR MEETINGS OF NARCOTICS ANONYMOUS or SERVICE GROUP for short.

The group meets monthly and meets are open to any NA members who would like to provide some form of service. The SERVICE GROUP has no decision-making authority, and does not seek to set policy or procedures. It does provide a forum for discussing issues and topics relevant to NA Secular meetings.

The group will sometimes decide (via consensus)  to make recommendations or suggestions for meetings, the NA Secular Website (www.secularna.org), social media and communications (The Secular NA Coffee Shop on FaceBook and the WhatsApp NA Secular Group). These recommendations or suggestions are not formal or required in any way. We respect that each NA group is self-governing, consistent with the 4th Tradition: “Each group should be autonomous except in matters affecting other groups or NA as a whole.”
